Reno Police Officer Found Dead in South Reno; Investigation Underway

RENO, Nev.  — Authorities are investigating the death of a Reno Police Department officer who was found deceased Friday night in South Reno.

According to a press release obtained by Our Town Reno, the officer was discovered on the 6100 block of Lakeside Drive. At this time, officials have not released the officer’s identity or additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.
