KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A heartbreaking wrong-way crash on Alcoa Highway early Saturday morning has claimed the life of Macii Williams, leaving her family, friends, and colleagues devastated.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers were dispatched just before 4 a.m. after reports of a collision involving a Hyundai sedan and a semi-truck. Investigators said Williams was driving south in the northbound lanes when her car collided head-on with the truck.
