Kendrick Fisher Webster Parish Crash: What Happened?

Head-On Collision Ends Two Lives

According to Louisiana State Police Troop G, a 2017 GMC Yukon driven by Brian Frost was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 80. Kendrick Fisher was traveling eastbound in his 2024 Kia Forte, alongside a 2016 Dodge Charger.

Remembering Kendrick Fisher: “Always a Smile. Always a Kind Word.”

“We are mourning the passing of Kendrick Mond Fisher, a distinguished gentle giant whose presence touched countless lives over the years. He was a man of quiet strength, God-fearing, kind-hearted, and deeply respected. A class act in every way.”

Kendrick, affectionately known as “Mond,” was a staple of the Haughton community. He worked nearly his entire adult life at the local McDonald’s, not just as an employee, but as part of the heartbeat of the town.

He was known for his warm greetings, dependable spirit, and gentle demeanor. People didn’t just come for food—they came to see Mond.

“He wasn’t just an employee. Always a smile. Always a kind word. Always Mond. That kind of consistency, that kind of spirit, leaves a lasting imprint.”

A Senseless Act and a Deep Loss

Authorities suspect impairment on the part of Brian Frost, the driver of the GMC Yukon. Toxicology results are still pending.

“His life was tragically cut short due to a senseless act… While we may never know what that person was going through mentally or emotionally, the pain that choice caused is real and lasting.”

Fisher’s passenger was severely injured and remains hospitalized. The driver of the Dodge Charger suffered minor injuries. Investigators continue to piece together the circumstances, but the loss felt by the town is clear and profound.

A Personal Reflection on Kendrick Fisher

“Mond was 45 years old, just like me. Though we didn’t graduate together, every time we crossed paths, whether around town or at his job, it was always love and mutual respect.”

“No one wakes up expecting to say goodbye to someone they have known for decades. And no community is ever prepared for this kind of heartbreak.”

“My prayers are with Mond’s family, his friends, his coworkers, and everyone in our town who knew him… This one is tough. It hits deep. But I believe God makes no mistakes. Even in sorrow, there is something to learn. Something to reflect on. And most of all, someone to honor.”

“Mond, your legacy is felt in every life you touched. You showed up every day, stayed true to who you were, and treated everyone with love and respect. That matters. And it will never be forgotten.”

Kendrick Fisher’s Enduring Legacy

In a world often too fast and too distracted, Kendrick Fisher stood out because he showed up, stayed grounded, and made people feel seen. He was a familiar and comforting face to hundreds, if not thousands, over the years.

This tragedy joins the heartbreaking ranks of recent losses like Garrett Duffy in Austin, Texas, and Mandee Connor in Fort Myers, showing again how fragile and sacred life is.
