GEORGETOWN, Texas — A tight-knit community is mourning an unimaginable tragedy after three family members — including an 8-year-old girl — were killed in a shooting at a Georgetown apartment complex. Authorities have identified the victims as Alonzo Hawkins, 34; Doneisha Brooks, 39; and Olivia Brooks, 8.
The Incident
According to Georgetown police, officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment on Luther Drive on Saturday. When officers arrived, they discovered three victims who had been fatally shot. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, all three were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have launched a full investigation, describing the case as a triple homicide. Police confirmed they are pursuing a person of interest but have not yet released the suspect’s name or possible motive.
