CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A quiet Saturday evening in Cheyenne turned tragic when police responded to reports of shots fired outside the King Soopers on the 3700 block of Dell Range Boulevard. The incident left one person dead and prompted a heavy law enforcement response.

According to the Cheyenne Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:06 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported gunfire in the parking area near King Soopers. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered one individual suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite emergency efforts, the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Suspect in Custody
