Fatal Crash Claims the Life of Detroit Rider Bernard Cook Near 7 Mile and Van Dyke

DETROIT, Mich. — Police have confirmed that Bernard Cook was the motorcyclist killed in a fatal collision on Detroit’s east side. The crash happened near East 7 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue, leaving family, friends, and the community devastated by his sudden loss.

According to investigators, Cook’s motorcycle collided with a Dodge Durango shortly after midnight. Emergency crews arrived quickly and transported him to a nearby hospital. Despite immediate medical care, Cook later died from the severe injuries he sustained in the crash.
