EAST WINDSOR, Conn. — A tragic accident early Sunday morning claimed the life of 27-year-old Jared Charette after his pickup truck overturned on Rye Street, authorities confirmed. The incident, which occurred around 12:30 a.m., has left the local community in mourning and prompted a thorough investigation by law enforcement.
Crash Details
According to the East Windsor Police Department, Charette was traveling northbound in his Ford F-350 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a guardrail. The truck then overturned, and Charette was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries.
First responders found Charette lying unconscious on the roadway. Despite immediate and extensive life-saving measures by police, fire, and medical personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“The loss of Mr. Charette is a devastating event for our community,” said a spokesperson for the East Windsor Police Department. “Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
