MARRERO, LOUISIANA — The community of Marrero and Harvey, Louisiana, is mourning the tragic and unexpected loss of one of its own, Meagan Daigle, a beloved sister, daughter, and friend. Meagan passed away suddenly, leaving behind a heartbroken family and countless friends who cherished her deeply. She was a graduate of John Ehret High School and a lifelong resident of the West Bank, having grown up in Harvey and most recently living in Marrero.
Meagan’s sudden passing has shaken everyone who knew her. The heartbreaking news was shared by her sibling, who expressed the family’s devastation and overwhelming grief.
“It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I must share that my beloved sister, Meagan Daigle, passed away today. Our family is still processing this tragic loss, and there are no words to truly express what we’re feeling right now.”
The post went on to explain that in the midst of unimaginable pain, the family wanted to ensure the news reached all who knew Meagan, especially those the family might not be connected to directly.
