GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Licking County community is reeling after a head-on collision on State Route 586 claimed the life of 28-year-old Zachary Minosky of Hopewell and left Seth Frederick of Newark injured. The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed the crash occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, near milepost six.
Details of the Fatal Collision
Preliminary reports indicate that Frederick was driving a Ford F-550 northbound when his vehicle went off the side of the road. Upon re-entering the highway, his truck crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Minosky. Emergency responders were dispatched immediately, but Minosky was pronounced dead at the scene. Frederick sustained injuries and was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital, where he received treatment.
