Multiple People Hospitalized After Early Morning Gunfire at Port Huron Apartment Complex; Suspect in Custody

PORT HURON, Mich. — A quiet Thursday morning in Port Huron turned violent when gunfire erupted at an apartment complex near Krafft Road and 24th Avenue (M-25), leaving multiple people injured and hospitalized. The incident, which occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on September 11, 2025, has shocked residents and placed the community on edge.

Gunfire Erupts in Residential Complex

According to the Port Huron Police Department, officers responded quickly after emergency calls reported shots fired inside the complex. Upon arrival, law enforcement and emergency medical personnel discovered several victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.
