Fort Worth  Texas – A tragic accident in Kennedale has claimed the life of Daniel Lord, a 43-year-old Fort Worth resident originally from Granbury, after a vehicle fell on him at an automotive service building on Eden Road.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Kennedale emergency units — including Engine 59, Medic 59, Marshal 59, and Chief 259 — were dispatched to a traumatic injury at a shop in the 4300 block of Eden Road.

According to reports, Lord was working beneath a vehicle when it suddenly collapsed, pinning him underneath. First responders quickly initiated life-saving measures and called in a CareFlite medical helicopter to prepare for an emergency transport to a trauma center.

Despite their efforts, Lord was pronounced deceased at the scene.
