EVERETT, Wash. — August 23, 2025 — A deadly overnight crash has shut down all lanes of Rucker Avenue between 43rd and 47th Streets as investigators piece together what led to the tragedy.

According to officials, the incident unfolded shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 4400 block of Rucker Avenue. Washington State Patrol troopers were reportedly pursuing a vehicle when it crashed, leaving one person dead at the scene.
