33-Year-Old Man Dies in Fatal ATV Crash on Whites Road, Bay St. George

 

BAY ST. GEORGE, NL — A tragic accident claimed the life of a 33-year-old man Friday morning after his all-terrain vehicle (ATV) overturned on Route 460, also known as Whites Road. Authorities say the incident highlights the dangers of ATV use, even for experienced riders.

Crash Details

Bay St. George RCMP reported that the call came in at approximately 8:30 a.m. on August 22, 2025, regarding an overturned ATV on the side of Whites Road. Responding officers found the lone occupant deceased at the scene.

“Any loss of life is deeply troubling,” said a spokesperson for Bay St. George RCMP. “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends affected by this tragedy.”

At this time, police have not released the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
